Overview
The portfolio is also its own first consumer. It presents projects publicly and maintains atomic standards, recipes, adoptions and cross-project upgrade work in an owner-only workspace.
A project that follows its own standards
This site uses the same SemVer, roadmap, release notes, architecture decisions and style guide that the catalog recommends. The foundation release 0.2.0 is complete. Version 0.3.0 brings the portfolio into the visual family of Random Thoughts, with a shared blue palette, editorial typography and illustrated game mechanics.
Two complementary sources of truth
Public editorial content lives in reviewable Markdown. Supabase stores private operational state: drafts, catalog versions, project adoptions and upgrade tasks. Projects remain independent repositories and adopt only the patterns that make sense for them.
Preview is a capability
Some reusable items have interactive previews; others are documents, scripts, tokens or decisions. A route such as /info/components can be an excellent project-specific practice, but it is never a universal requirement.
