A collaborative effort to collect, clean and publish data that should already be public. The engineering is mostly about provenance, reproducibility and inexpensive contribution.
Why it exists
Public data is often technically available and practically unusable. The project sits in that gap, turning scattered sources into material a journalist or researcher can actually inspect and query.
What it contributes to the catalog
Its strongest reusable patterns concern provenance, data migrations, repeatable ingestion and contribution documentation—not game architecture.
